CG Glass

In this "gag" scene, a baseball bat breaks a mug of beer and all that is left is the handle, still held by the bar patron.  To accomlish this, his right arm/hand and beer mug were painted out and replaced with a roto of just his arm and hand holding the broken off mug handle.   After that, I created a cg mug filled with cg beer, and rendered out an animation of it shattering with the cg beer bursting out and spraying.  A composite of the animation with the live footage completed the shot.
